Riley was born and raised on a cattle ranch in Joseph, Oregon. He grew up working hard as both a rancher with his family and as a wildland firefighter with the United States Forest Service.
He attended undergraduate school at Oregon State University where he majored in Philosophy and minored in European History.
Following graduation, he attended Willamette University College of Law in Salem, Oregon. While at Willamette, Riley was a writer and editor for Willamette Law Online and obtained his Certification in Dispute Resolution. He also worked as a legal assistant and appeared in Court under the Law Student Appearance Rule for a firm in Bend, Oregon.
Riley became an attorney because he enjoys working with his clients and assisting them in any capacity that they require. Being raised in a rural community has instilled a personal responsibility and dedication to those around him and he strives to provide effective and personalized counsel. When out of the office Riley enjoys hiking, fishing, hunting, and working on his family’s ranch.
